The GlenAllachie 13 year old Oloroso Wood Finish was bottled exclusively for the German market.
The noble single malt whisky in rich mahogany tone secured classic vanilla and spice notes in first and second fill casks made of American white oak.
Refined in former Oloroso Sherry Puncheons, the dark exclusive bottling spoils the palate with a meaningful, full-bodied flavor profile that underlines the GlenAllachie character with cinnamon and coffee as well as dried and candied fruits.
Nose: Lush aromas of cinnamon, heather honey and roasted coffee beans, along with dried sultanas, mocha and grated coconut
Palate: Hints of syrup-packed figs, followed by caramel brittle, heather honey, cinnamon and candied ginger
