Wolfburn proudly presents the seventh with the Wolfburn Batch 458 Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butts Bottling in the series of small batch releases.
Lightly peated and composed of 50% first-fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butts and first-fill Bourbon Barrels.
A total of only 5,100 bottles were filled, of course for Wolfburn without chill filtration and without the addition of colorants with an alohol content of 46%vol.
Nose: syrup and fresh roasted coffee, behind it subtle aromas of cherries and dried spices
Palate: clearly hazelnut, almonds and cloves - above all a very nice, soft peat smoke, plus light tannins - the full flavor profile unfolds after a while in the mouth
Finish: again the light syrupy sweetness and spices - warm peat smoke accompanies the medium-length finish
