A 26 year old single grain whiskey from the great Loch Lomond distillery.
Distilled in November 1995, the Loch Lomond 26 Year Old Refill Hogshead 1995/2022 was aged in a refill Hogshead for 26 years, then the single grain Scotch Whisky was bottled to just 160 bottles in May 2022.
Nose: Fragrantly sweet with floral aromas, plus cereal, vanilla, honey and soft spicy aromas
Palate: Soft in taste, notes of syrup, citric acid and molasses and caramel biscuits
Finish: all aromas and flavors are combined in the wonderfully soft and long finish - nothing dominates except the softness
