Single grain in perfection - the Dumbarton 21 year old Refill Hogshead 2000/2022 was distilled in November 2000, the Single Grain Whisky from the Dumbarton distillery matured in a refill Hogshead for over 21 years, then Douglas Laing filled the cask in May 2022 to just 314 bottles in the Old Particular range.
Nose: Sweet raspberry jam with cotton candy, along with aromas of honey cereal and caramel cream
Taste: Soft spicy notes develop into biscuit pudding with golden syrup, along with spicy oak and a hint of vanilla
Finish: Nutmeg and oranges studded with cloves, followed by spicy tones of cardamom and cinnamon paired with milk chocolate
