The first batch of Kinahan's Kasc Project - the blended whiskey made from malt and grain matures in Casks made of five different types of wood - American oak, French oak, Hungarian oak, chestnut and Portuguese oak.
Nose: ripe fruits, especially pears and plums, plus troic fruits and spicy caramel
Palate: again the tropical fruits and the caramel, along with notes of chocolate, vanilla and roasted oak wood - in the background sweet notes of ripe figs and juicy raisins
Finish: medium finish with fruity and slightly spicy tones
