In 2001, the Alto Duoro wine region was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as a protected cultural landscape.

The Dalva Colheita Tawny Port 2001 comes from exactly this year and stands for that extraordinary honor.

Obtained from a single harvest, this classic yet special Tawny Port matured in high-quality oak barrels until it was bottled.

Nose: Complex with aromas of spices and toasted caramel, along with waxy balsamic aromas and some menthol

Palate: creamy and rich in taste - fresh and balanced

The Dalva Colheita Tawny Port 2001 should be served slightly chilled, between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius in summer and 14 and 16 degrees Celsius in winter.

An impressive port wine that should be enjoyed neat.

But it can also be combined with medium-intensive cheeses, egg desserts such as crème brulée.

Also excellent in combination with nuts and spice sweets.

The bottle should be stored upright, protected from direct light and excessive moisture, and kept at a constant temperature of 16 to 18 degrees Celsius.
