Well, that's easy, there are only two distilleries on the Orkney Islands and the love for the old Vikings is very conscious of only one of them ...!

Nose: rich aromas of sweet malt and honey at the beginning, followed by ripe barley and grilled lemons

Palate: mouth-filling, smooth, almost oily with intense notes reminiscent of a sweet rum - then follows smoke, vanilla and wet ash

Finish: long finish with notes of toffee and butterscotch, again the lemons with hints of exotic spices and oak
