This single malt whiskey from the Macduff distillery was aged for thirteen years in American white oak casks and finished in fresh ruby port hogsheads.
Nose: Aromas of biscuit, plus crème brulée and milk chocolate, followed by hints of blooming violets and a little freshly cut hay
Palate: an elegant sweet pepperiness with notes of stewed fruit
Finish: soft tones of spicy oak and ripe cherries on the finish
