Volcán De Mi Tierra pays homage to and is named after a real volcano located in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico: El Volcán de Tequila.
The Tequila volcano erupted 200,000 years ago and shaped the entire region.
Its eruption blanketed the area with rich volcanic soil ideal for blue agave growth.
Volcán Reposado is an example of precision and harmony between terroir and wood.
Tequila Reposado is a blend of American and European oak barrels that expresses both the complexity and finesse of the selected agave.
A true expression of a unique terroir focus with 100% highland intertwined with the duality of oak and experimentation over time.
The Tequila Reposado matures for 135 days in new American and European oak barrels.
Nose: the agave is accompanied by fruity aromas such as black currant, red apple, pineapple and ripe peaches - plus nuts and dried fruits - floral and honey-like aromas emerge in the background
Palate: the fruity notes reappear - now clearly pineapple and light citrus notes, paired with a very pleasantly mild note of honey
Finish: soft and full-bodied on the finish - pleasant, long roasted and tobacco notes
