Cristóbal Niña is a premium Spirit Drink from the Dominican Republic that matured in ex-Bourbon casks for eight to twelve years.
Niña is the nickname of the ship Santa Clara that accompanied Columbus on several of his adventures to America.
Due to mutiny in the colonies and lack of funds Columbus had to sell the ship - the fate of the ship is unknown.
Nose: really complex and balanced - green strawberries and floral aromas, rounded off with freshly cut oak and crème brulée with a caramelised sugar crust
Palate: luscious notes of peppermint chocolate and marshmallow
Finish: the finish is smooth and soft with tones fresh vanilla that leaves a silky feeling on the palate
