The Ron Esclavo 12 Speyside Whisky Cask Finish Limited Edition is an exclusive blended rum made from up to 12 year old rum qualities from the Dominican Republic.
All rum qualities used were distilled from molasses in the column still and then stored in American white oak Casks in the Dominican Republic.
The rum was then made in Europe in former whisky casks from the Scottish Speyside.
Nose: Rich aromas of soft toffee and light chocolate, along with spicy aromas of fresh oak, cardamom and some anise
Palate: mouth-filling and strong in taste with notes of juicy raisins and again the chocolate - above all clearly the influence of the whiskey cask, paired with ripe grain
Finish: soft and mild with a long finish
