Since summer 2021, the brand of the independent bottler Brave New Spirits from Glasgow has been drawing the Market under its spell.
Whisky of Voodoo conjures up renowned distilleries from all regions of Scotland.
Which exactly remains a secret.
These develop magic power with at least 46%vol. Alcohol content bottled "Mystery Malts" in a variety of mostly first and second fill casks - from bourbon to sherry and port to cognac, tequila or wine.
The latter applies to The Bloody Sacrifice, for example.
The "teaspooned" Islay Blended Malt Whisky matured for a decade in 1st-fill Amarone Wine Barriques, prefilled with the heavy, full red wine from the Valpolicella region.
The result: dark fruits and warm smoke.
