Signatory once again proved a lucky hand when selecting these casks from the Linkwood distillery in Speyside, Scotland, which were selected for this bottling.
Four ex-Bourbon Barrels were filled with fresh distillate on April 17th, 2009 and bottled by Signatory on April 14th, 2022 at the age of 12.
Nose: lots of vanilla and toffee, plus fresh barley and a hint of oak
Palate: butterscotch and creamy malt, slightly spicy notes, especially thyme
Finish: soft and fruity on the finish - again the vanilla and the oak
