Master Distiller Billy Walker once again had the opportunity to demonstrate his great instinct for barrels.
The living legend carefully selected and combined barrels, puncheons and casks to create a new GlenAllachie whisky cuvée.
The single malt, bottled exclusively for Germany, first matured in Casks made of American oak.
For an additional, aroma-intensive aging process, Billy Walker selected three other Cask types with different characters.
In addition to Pedro Ximénez Sherry Puncheons and Madeira barriques , we chose Port Pipes.

The result: An intense and exceptional single malt cuvée with complex aromas ranging from mocha, raisins and muscovado sugar to ripe garden fruits.
The Portuguese barriques provide spicy touches, while the sherry puncheons contribute sweetness and depth.

Nose: plenty of mocha, liquorice and sultanas, followed by muscovado sugar, honey-glazed cherries and ripe garden fruit
Palate: Waves of heather honey, cinnamon spice and caramelized sugar transition to syrup, Ginger and Orange Peel
