The Distillery Reserve is intended exclusively for sale on site at the distillery - and but a few bottles were sold in Germany.
Matured to 40% in STR barriques (Portuguese red wine casks) and 60% in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, this Kingsbarns is bursting with aromas
Nose: Freshly baked goods and baking spices such as cardamom and cinnamon are present, then orange oil, vanilla beans, fresh tobacco leaves and a hint of ripe apricots
Palate: thick ginger pudding and fresh orange peel
Finish: medium-length finish with spicy tones of oak , cloves - behind them rhubarb and ginger jam
