Great pleasure with a high-quality cigar: The Tamdhu Cigar Malt from First Fill Sherry Casks
In 1897 they made their first journey to the newly established whiskey distillery on the banks of the River Spey: sherry casks.
From the beginning, Tamdhu relied on the valuable and aromatic oak barrels from Andalusia.
For several years now, the distillery's Speyside single malts have been maturing exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks - the cornerstone of the intensive, fruity taste and the natural depth of color of the whiskeys.
These mature in this way, among other things, into harmonious companions for high-quality cigars.

For their first cigar malt, Tamdhu only used a hand-picked selection of single malts from first-fill European Oak Oloroso Sherry Casks, whose strong character optimally underscores the full flavor of a cigar.
At 53.8% vol. alcohol content, the limited special edition unfolds lush aromas - from ginger and crème brulée to dried fruit, malt and vanilla to honey-coated pecans.
Tasting notes and more can be found in a small brochure hidden in a drawer of the elegant gift packaging.
