Don Papa celebrates the passion and exuberance of Papa Isio, the heroic freedom fighter and shaman of the island of Negros, where the famous Don Papa Rum is made and where the hero fought for the independence of his home island.
Baroko 40%vol. 0.1l
Distilled from the special "Black Gold" molasses, Don Papa Baroko is aged for several years in American white oak barrels at the foot of the Kanlaon mountain on the island of Negros before being blended to give it a rich, smooth finish.
The resulting rum-based spirit embodies Don Papa's original style - an aroma bursting with citrus notes and vanilla, a full-bodied and full-bodied taste with candied fruit and honey, and a long, powerful finish with hints of oak and spice.

Don Papa is the new single island rum from the Philippines, inspired by Papa Isio - a hero of the revolution and shaman from the island of Negros, which is also the production site of Don Papa Rum.
At the foothills of the Mount Kanlaon volcano, the Don Papa rum is aged for seven years in American oak ex-Bourbon and Rioja wine casks, which give it a depth of flavor.
After the aging period, casks are selected by hand and married together - this is how the perfect seven-year-old Don Papa Single Island Rum is created.
With aromatic citrus zest, mango and roasted hazelnuts in the bouquet, this rum inspires on the palate with a powerful fruit note, vanilla cream and dark toffee.
With a long-lasting note of dry, toasted oak in the soft finish, this rum is ideal for pure enjoyment.
Nose: Ripe, freshly cut citrus fruits, along with aromas of mangoes and freshly picked strawberries - a compote of garden fruit - above all a gentle spice, sweet oak and toasted hazelnuts
Palate: Full-bodied and full-bodied with notes of ripe tangerines, brown sugar and soft vanilla cream - followed by a hint of warm-spicy, fresh ginger, fresh lemon zest and dark toffee
