Distilled in July 2006, this elegant one matured Single malt whisky from Scotland's Aultmore distillery - located in Speyside - aged for over 15 years in a refilled hogshead, then the cask was filled into Douglas Laing's Old Particular range in February 2022.
Nose: fragrant, slightly flowery aromas, plus caramel and slightly spicy aromas
Palate: soft at the beginning and mild, then peppery notes paired with ripe, spicy barley
Finish: initially piquant, spicy notes on the finish, then some honey, ripe grain and creamy toffee
