It is rare to find bottlings from the Scottish Speyside distillery, Auchroisk.
Distilled on March 5th, 1996, the single malt whisky first matured in hogsheads, the single malt then received a second maturation in the former sherry cask #2 - ultimately becoming the cask was filled to 684 bottles on January 21, 2022 in Signatory's Cask Strength Collection.
Nose: ripe apricots and juicy raisins, with spicy ginger and some vanilla
Palate: fruity in taste with clear notes of ripe oranges, again the raisins - followed by spicy oak and fresh herbs
Finish: long finish - very buttery with distinct notes of fresh pastries
