This eight year old Kilkerran from Glengyle distillery was matured in ex-sherry casks and was bottled at cask strength in 2021.
Nose: fresh citrus fruits and orange peels, behind them jam - then becoming spicier with a light pepper note Palate: rich and mouth-filling in taste - reminiscent of a BBQ, plus peat smoke and a slight sweetness of honey and Demerara sugar Finish: subtle tones of peat smoke, soot and burning logs
