This single malt whisky from the Scottish Speyside distillery Auchroisk matured for 30 long years - distilled in February 1991, the single malt matured in a refill hogshead, then the cask was filled in December 2021 in Douglas Laing's XOP series to 200 bottles at cask strength.
Nose: Ripe red fruits and warming, spicy aromas, with butter biscuits
Taste: Balanced and harmonious - rich notes of orange peel and candied fruit paired with nutmeg and cloves
Finish: Infinitely long finish - clearly candied apples, honey and barley
