For Creation #4 of the Tomatin Cù Bòcan from the Tomatin Highland Distillery, casks with a pre-allocation of Tawny Port wine and Cognac were used.

Nose: an elegant mix of plum jam, grilled peach and preserved forest fruits, with cinnamon and sweet campfire smoke

Taste: again the plum jam and the peach - then follow slightly spicy notes and soft smoke

Finish: long and soft in the fruity-smoky finish

Cù Bòcan (spoken: Kü Boken) is Gaelic and means ghost dog.
Scotland is a land of stories and legends - this story tells of a great, black monster roaming the highlands moors.
Legend has it that the monster is rarely seen once per generation.
A distillery employee tells us that he met the monster late at night, but despite his anxiety, he wanted to touch the creature and only caught in the blue smoke that disappeared in the moor ....
