The most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland, Wolfburn Distillery, has Germany very much dear to my heart, after all it is the largest market for the Scottish distillery.
As a "thank you" we often receive bottlings that are not actually intended for export, but for direct sales in Great Britain.

Bottled from just two casks from 2016, an exOloroso Sherry Butt and an exBourbon barrel, as always in natural coloring and without chill filtration.
Nose: fresh orchard fruits meet vanilla - above all an elegant sherry sweetness
Taste: creamy mouthfeel - shortbread and spicy oak paired with ripe cherries and pears - then light tannins and a pleasant sweetness
Finish: long and creamy with intense fruit notes, plus spicy oak and soft vanilla
