Wemyss Malts have long announced their latest creation "Smoky Shores" and now - in February 2022 - it is they are actually available.
Like Velvet Fig or Nectar Grove, Smoky Shores is a limited addition to the core blended malt range (The Hive, Spice King & Peat Chimney), totaling 5,526 bottles.
The smoky aromas are even more expressive than the Peat Chimney, Smoky Shores offers the full intensity of peaty whiskeys alongside maritime notes.
Nose: lush peat smoke with aromas of freshly grated mint leaves and rosemary
Taste: mouth-filling and intense in flavor with explosive earthy notes, plus white pepper and lime zest
