Malteco Selección 1980 is made in Panama according to an ancient recipe from Guatemala and in best tradition of the famous Guatemalan rum.
For the distillation of this extraordinary rum, the best sugar cane juice and the highest quality yeast are processed.
Er is distilled in the column still and matures on the mountain slopes of Panama in a selection of the best Bourbon casks at its considerable age.

The limited, exclusive bottling is adorned with an image of the Quetzal, one magnificent green and red bird that resurrects the legends of the Aztec feathered quetzalcoatl, the snake god.
An extravagant wooden gift box protects the exclusive bottling.

The Malteco Selección 1980 is beautifully amber in color and pampers the nose with the alluringly intense, penetrating and slightly balsamic scent of citrus fruits and spices.
In the mouth it is exceptionally balanced and complex, with tasty notes of mint , red fruit, chocolate, tobacco, wood and vanilla blended into an engaging, tannic Pass finish.
