The new series "Discovery" by Gordon & MacPhail presents the different flavors in the world of Scottish single malt whiskeys.
We start with the three most popular "flavors" "Smoky with Peat", "Bourbon Cask Matured" and "Sherry Cask Matured".

For this bottling, Gordon & MacPhail selected an 11-year-old Glenrothes from Speyside, Scotland, which matured exclusively in ex-sherry casks.

Nose: strong aromas of toffee and preserved fruit, followed by sherry, ripe wild berries, some cinnamon and chocolate
Taste: at the beginning intensive notes of raspberries and blackberries, again the cinnamon tones - above all spicy oak wood
Finish: long and soft in the finish with hints of creamy milk chocolate and oranges
