The Japanese Masahiro Distillery is responsible for the Kujira Ryukyu Whisky-Range.

Kujira Ryukyu 12-year-old single grain whiskey is made from high-quality indica rice and black koji.

Matured for twelve years in ex-Spanish sherry casks in a subtropical climate on the southern end of Okinawa, Japan.

Nose: clearly honey and sherry - an elegant combination of molasses and corn syrup - then intense fruity aromas of balsamic vinegar and mousse au chocolat follow
Taste: mouth-filling and harmonious - again the honey and the sherry - slightly spicy notes in the background
Finish: long-lasting sweet finish - reminiscent of rum
