Distilled in the Spanish style (column still), matured for 15 years in the Solera process in ex-bourbon and newly burned-out ex-bourbon casks.
The Botran family, who have been making sugar cane schnapps since 1939, produce the world-famous Guatemalan brandy Rum.
Made from natural sugar cane honey and distilled in column stills, the botran rum ages in the center of the country at an altitude of 2,300 meters.
The rum is aged in four different types of barrels using a process inspired by the Solera method .
This gives the rums a unique complexity.
