Product information "Aikan Whisky Intense Rhum Barrels 40%vol. 0,7l"
This brand new bottling from AIKAN is the first of its kind with a reduced and therefore lighter accessible alcohol strength of 40%vol. is bottled and comes on the market in a 700ml bottle.
But not only these two features are new and distinguish it: For its production, Casks of unsweetened molasses rums in the "High Ester" category were used for the first time or "Grand Arôme" is used.

With an absolutely unique aroma profile, which combines tropical fruits, sweet pastries with notes from the exRum and exBourbon Casks, this AIKAN whisky is an absolutely innovative addition to the popular range.

The maturation
1. First maturation for a minimum of three years in Scotland in new and used ex-Bourbon Casks from Kentucky.
2. Second maturation takes place in Martinique in high ester rum Casks and a small number of Casks made from French Limousin oak.

2. Slow and carefully monitored reduction to the alcohol strength of 40.0%vol.
3. Without coloring

Nose: the nose of the new AIKAN is fresh and fruity with aromas of flambéed bananas, lime peel, vanilla, geranium and liquorice with a little smoke
Taste: on the palate it is full-bodied and complex and absorbs the fruity impressions of the nose and intensifies them with notes of mango, honey, almonds, green and black olives and a little brioche
Finish: its finish is pleasantly soft and long-lasting with tones of sweet cherries, sweet spices and vanilla, which are rounded off by subtle oak notes
