Dreams for peat friends from "Scotland's Little Gem": Ballechin Straight from the Sherry Cask
What do malts with a smoke content of at least 50ppm and maturing time in very different types of casks produce? Diversity, depth and multi-dimensional smoking pleasure.
This is what the Ballechin brand from "Scotland’s Little Gem", the Edradour Distillery, stands for.
Manufactured in large parts as when the legendary favorite distillery of many whisky fans was founded, the Highland Single Malts from Ballechin are the most peaty that Edradour has to offer.

For a single cask, the team around Andrew Symington treated the heavily peated whiskey a special treatment.
The single malt whisky was allowed to spend its entire maturation time in a former Oloroso sherry barrel.

After more than a decade in the Andalusian oak barrel, such lush, dark notes and heavy smoke form a delicious liaison.
951 of the 0.5 liter bottles are ready to make peat lovers' dreams come true.
