Product information "Lindores - The Casks of Lindores - Bourbon Cask 49,4%vol. 0,7l"
Lindores Abbey Distillery is located in the Scottish Lowlands near Fife and is the first place in a written source from 1494 gives a reference to the production of whisky in Scotland.
Brother John Cor, a monk of Lindores Abbey, was commissioned for King James IV to make "aqua vitae" (the water of life), as whisky was called back then, from barley.

Since 2017 the Lindores Abbey Distillery has been producing Spirit with its pot stills at this location.

The first bottling from the "The Casks of Lindores" series

Nose: soft fruit ht, red apples and pears combined with sweet vanilla, butterscotch and custard with citrus flavors
Taste: fruity notes reminiscent of an orchard - cooked apples, with notes of fresh lemons with a hint of bitterness, covered with woody oak and spicy peppery notes
Finish: medium-long finish with fruity tones
