Il Gin del Professore The Fighting Bear Gin 43%vol. 0,7l

Since 1890 it has been located in the sun-kissed hills of the northern Italian wine region Piedmont - the Antica Destilleria Quaglia.
Family tradition is very important to the Piedmontese: The knowledge of and the craftsmanship of distillation extends to great-grandson Carlo Quaglia, who is now the fourth generation to run the distillery.

The Quaglias named their vermouth and gin "Del Professore" in honor of the experimental bar pioneer Jerry Thomas.
Thomas made himself immortal under the nickname "The Professor" around 160 years ago with creative cocktail creations in the bar scene.
And: paved the way for innovative, superbly crafted products like those from Del Professore.

The principles of the Italians: a strong bond with the region and respect for good, natural ingredients as well as the know-how and the time that the people behind the products need to make them.
Mass-produced goods are therefore not available here. Thanks to the biodiversity and agricultural culture of Piedmont, a variety of fine, natural ingredients are available for Gin from Del Professore.
For example: juniper from the Umbrian-Tuscan Apennines, harvested fully ripe between September and October, Roman chamomile or bitter orange peel.

The three botanicals are the main ingredients for the handmade addition to the Del Professore Gin Range.
The Fighting Bear is created in the style of London Dry Gin - probably the most original of all gin categories - in one of the rare Carter Head stills.
Together with other spices and fruits, a fragrant, round and soft distillate with a strong juniper, herb and orange notes is created.

Nose: intense with long-lasting notes of juniper, bitter orange and fragrant Roman chamomile

Finish: pleasant with citrus fruits and oranges
