Four Cask Strength versions of the iconic Stauning Rye Whisky were bottled exclusively for Germany.
The Danes treated their full-bodied flagship from 49% Barley and 51% Rye malt to delicious finishes, such as in casks pre-filled with Barbados rum or the Portuguese dessert wine Madeira.
Particularly creative: the refinement in barrels that previously contained Canadian maple syrup.

His labels show animals from the Danish west coast, which together symbolize the distilling process - the separation of the distillate into heads, hearts and tails.
This sensitive process is also illustrated by the artist Martin Askholm, who was trained at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
Known for his figurative and abstract art, the Copenhagener designed dynamic and colorful abstractions.
