Their small batch releases have been a mainstay in the Dingle Distillery's portfolio since it was founded in 2012 - individual taste snapshots that capture their home on the west coast of the Emerald Isle.
With the Small Batch Release No. 6, the skilful Irish celebrate their premiere and farewell at the same time.
The invitingly dark single malt is the last bottling of the series - and at the same time the first dingle whiskey that matured exclusively in tawny port casks.
The Portuguese barrels bring a wonderful intensity to the Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey.
And this is reflected in complex notes of jam, butterscotch and kandi ginger, cranberries, chocolate and spices.
