Product information "Glen Scotia 12 year old Seasonal Release 2021 54,7%vol. 0,7l"
As is well known, the Glen Scotia distillery belongs to Springbank with Longrow & Hazelburn and Glengyle are among the last three distilleries in the Campbeltown region.
The city looks back on an eventful past as a former center of Whisky production - over 30 distilleries were active here in the heyday!

With the 12-year-old Glen Scotia Seasonal Release 2021, Glen Scotia presents a strictly limited bottling , which matured for 11 years in first-filled exBourbon and American Oak Hogsheads, then received a 12-month finish in first-filled exOloroso Hogsheads and heavily charred Barrels made of American oak.
Then the Single Malt was bottled in cask strength.

Nose: clearly soft toffee and fresh apples, behind it salty sea air and a little vanilla
Taste: mouth-filling - warming-spicy notes, with roasted nuts and slightly floral notes - followed by ripe oranges and melted brown sugar
Finish: long, Nutty finish, paired with ripe pears and getroc knead fruit bowls
