Edradour has been part of the not only since it was taken over by Andrew Symington in 2002 The popularity of single malt fans is pretty high.
The whiskeys of the distillery, located in the Highlands east of Pitlochry, are traditionally handcrafted and in some cases still with original equipment from the 19th century.
Like 200 years ago, "Scotland's little gem" produces unadulterated single malts.
Edradour relies on different Cask types from bourbon to sherry to wine for a diverse taste profile. And: peated and unpeated distillates.

Under the brand name Ballechin, the distillery's smokiest single malts are made from malt with at least 50ppm smoke content.
The distillery combines the best properties from both worlds in the Edradour Ballechin Cuvée 8 y.o.

The 8-year-old bottling masterfully marries Edradour single malt whisky from the sherry cask with ballechin matured in bourbon casks in a ratio of 1: 3 to create a harmonious potpourri with charcoal and chocolate, roasted malt and cinnamon, raisins and ginger.

Nose: slightly smoky aromas, plus spicy tones of cloves and canehl - dark chocolate
Taste: creamy with clearly malty notes, some orange and raisins - behind that smoky notes, some fruit and some ginger
Finish: long finish - with fruity notes, plus smoke and cocoa powder
