Nc'nean looks ahead to the future of the whisky world.

The single malt is made from organically grown Scottish barley in a distillery that runs on 100 percent renewable energy.

It is bottled in the UK's first 100% recycled clear glass bottle.

"Made by nature, not by rules" is the motto of one of the few women-run whisky distilleries in the world.

It has also been official since the beginning of July 2021: Nc'nean was the first British distillery to achieve net zero emissions for its production!

The few CO2 emissions that arise during production are therefore lower than the amount of emissions that have been withdrawn from the atmosphere.

Nc'nean is not only responding to the increased interest in sustainable production.

With a full aroma of citrus fruits, peaches, apricots and spices after only three years of aging in bourbon casks and STR wine barrels (STR = "scraped" or "shaved", "toasted", "recharred"), the soft, uncomplicated whiskey speaks to experienced whiskey Connoisseurs and whisky explorers alike.

The single malt comes in batch sizes of around 5,000 bottles each.

Batch 8 of the groundbreaking whiskey from the coast of the Morven Peninsula is now available.
