For Batch 2 of ElsBurn Marsala, the Hercynian Single Malt Whisky was only allowed to mature in Hogsheads that had previously been used for years to mature Dolce and Abbocato Marsala.
Dolce Marsala, the sweetest of all Marsala wines with a sugar content of at least 100g/l, and the semi-dry Abbocato Marsala left behind delicious traces of malt and baked nuts over grape jelly and strawberry purée in the dark Single Malt Whisky , light chocolate and caramel to panna cotta and cookie dough.
Limited to 1,725 bottles
