Bottled with a natural cask strength of 54.1%vol. Alcohol content and matured exclusively in former American bourbon Casks, the "little beast" lets wonderfully spicy aromas and notes "off the leash".
The strong spicy notes and the many herbal tones make the blended malt whisky a perfect partner on any cheese platter!
Nose: at the beginning clearly ripe barley and freshly felled oak, then aromas of spicy heather and garden herbs follow
Taste: mouth-filling, and soft - now clearly malty notes, plus shortbread, fresh scones and heather honey - freshly baked food is present, paired with spicy tones of fresh garden herbs - especially thyme, a little sage and oregano
Finish: long finish - the spice again, the honey and light tones of fresh vanilla pods join again
