Tasting Notes: This is how the Arran Sherry Cask - The Bodega tastes like
- Nose: At the beginning the influence of the sherry casks is clear - juicy dried fruits and some orange, paired with wintery spicy aromas of cardamom and star anise - above all a slight hint of dark chocolate and roasted oak
- Palate: mouth-filling with intense sherry notes - the dried fruits are present again, especially figs and prunes, raisins and dates are visible, plus the dark chocolate and sweet cherries again - Spicy notes of freshly cut ginger and coriander resonate
- Finish: medium-long finish with now significantly spicier tones - in the background there are light notes of an extinguished campfire
