As an internationally recognized artist, he beautifies the world with floral installations, by dipping bouquets of flowers deep into the sea or even installing a bonsai tree in space.
Inspired by the wonderful floral notes of the Glenmorangie 18 years old, Azuma Makoto compared the flavors of the whiskey with the wonder of various blooming flowers.
Tuberose and freesia for the sweetness or sugar peas for the spicy notes - this unique collaboration highlights the beauty of almost 100 different flowers from all over the world.
For this exclusive limited edition, the exclusive design by Azuma Makoto was provided with eye-catching packaging and a bold, colorful bottle decoration that brings wealth and energy.
Nose: Aromas of honey, malt and floral scents, followed by the oloroso nuttiness (hazelnuts and walnuts) - dates and figs emerge in the background with a hint of wood smoke
Taste: rich, round and sweet with dried fruits - at the beginning nutty, caramel (crème brulée) and vanilla overtones, followed by notes of walnuts, honeycombs and dates - then complex floral notes with geranium, jasmine and daffodil - after adding water deep oak notes are released, which reveal a balsamic character, which is softened by vanilla, the fruity complex typical of Glenmorangie shows in the form of ripe apricots and dates, interwoven with hazelnuts
Finish: the finish is long and tempting due to the sweetness of dried fruits and the subtle dryness of the oloroso nuttiness
