Distilled in February 2015, this Penderyn single malt whisky matured in a single former Purple Moscatel wine Barrel and was bottled to just 297 bottles in August 2020.
Nose: intense floral aromas, especially orange blossoms and lilies, plus creamy vanilla, honey, grapes and apricots
Taste: velvety soft and mouth-filling - very nice balanced sweetness, plus spicy notes - especially tropical fruits such as mango and papaya, plus nutmeg and spicy hazelnuts
Finish: medium-long finish with sweet and spicy tones
