The family-run Wessex Distillery produces its delicious gins in the Surrey Hills in England.
The basis for this elegant English Sloe Gin is the Classic Gin - This is refined with hand-picked sloe berries from the region.
The sloe berries are macerated for six months and processed into a mash with natural sugar.
The sloe berries give the Sloe Gin its deep, dark red color. You can clearly taste the juniper and sloe berries, fruity and sweet notes pair with the tones of the damp forest floor - you can see almonds in the background.
A very nicely balanced sloe gin with an elegant, only slight sweetness.
