Great Britain's oldest wine and spirits retailer writes another chapter in the company's history.
In collaboration with the renowned design firm Stranger & Stranger, the supplier to the British royal family, founded in 1698, gave its entire spirits portfolio a modern look in 2021.
Whisky, rum and co. find their new home in a bottle that is inspired by the place of origin and the heart of the family business: the arched windows of the building in No. 3 St. James's Street.
The bottlings of the Summer Release 2021 in July were the first to use the new design.
This includes the light Linkwood, distilled in 2009 from the Small Batch range by Berry Bros. & Rudd, who skillfully extends the summer with his peach and banana notes.
Nose: soft, full aromas of tropical fruits, especially bananas, peaches and mangoes - behind them slightly spicy tones, ripe barley malt and a little caramel
Taste: soft and full in taste - again the peaches and the bananas, then freshly cut grass and some heather
Finish: long finish - the fruit and the spice are present for a long time
