With two Royal Warrants and a history spanning over 300 years, Berry Bros. & Rudd Britain's oldest wine and spirits merchant. The company is still family owned and has been operating since 1698 at No. 3 St. James' Street  headed out. The London institution combines the expertise of an independent bottler with access to first-class whiskies. The Classic Range invites you into their world - with bottlings that are synonymous with their regional origin or that highlight a classic style.
The heart of the series includes the Sherry Cask Matured Blended Malt and the Islay Reserve Blended Malt - until 2023. The classics have been delighting beginners and connoisseurs as single malts since summer 2023.

With an attractive balance of sherry notes, the Sherry Cask Matured Single Malt retains its role model character for this whiskey style that itis now with an increased alcohol content of 45.3%vol.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Sherry Cask Matured Berry Bros. & Rudd tastes like

• Nose: at the beginning ripe blood oranges and raisins, followed by aromas of dates and prunes with brown cane sugar - above all light aromas of roasted wood and freshly polished leather
• Palate: Mouth-filling and soft - now clearly black currants, again the oranges and cane sugar - behind them becoming spicier with anise, fennel and cinnamon - some bitter chocolate
• Finish: long finish with a reserved sweetness - reminiscent of a Scottish fruitcake with lots of raisins and dates
