Billy Walker spent endless amounts of time in the GlenAllachie warehouse, to take samples from the barrel range of the distillery.
With over 40,000 barrels on site, that's not for the faint of heart.

After tasting this huge selection of casks, Billy Walker unveiled the GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Batch #1.

It's time again and you can look forward to a new batch of 10-year-old GlenAllachie.

The key to this great malt is dedication - under the direction of Master Distiller Billy Walker, it is created through slow fermentation, precise distillation and long maturation in the best barrels from around the world this fantastic single malt, which is as natural as the rocky place it comes from.
And in order to preserve this rich, full taste, it is bottled with a higher alcohol content.

Nose: lots of heather honey, dark chocolate and mocha, with almonds, cinnamon and orange peel

Taste: dark chocolate, syrup, mocha, heather honey and almonds, with cinnamon jam and grapefruit
