Knut Hansen Dry Gin 42%vol. 0,5l with Mug
In the middle of Hamburg, directly on the Bille, is the largest distillery for premium spirits in northern Germany, the home port of KNUT HANSEN DRY GIN.
The gin got its name and face from the famous sailor Knut Hansen, because just like him Knut Hansen Dry Gin stands for freedom and adventure, but also for tradition and the love of the north.
The Knut Hansen Dry Gin is produced in a 150l still belonging to the Arnold Holstein family.
In a manual process, the gin is distilled four times in small batches with an extremely slow supply of energy.
In addition to juniper, apples from the old country, Rose blossoms from the Baltic Sea dike and cucumbers and basil from the Hamburg weekly market used.
KNUT HANSEN DRY GIN has received international awards, including GOLD at the WORLD GIN AWARDS 2020 in London and from The Spirits Business magazine to one of the top 10 spirits designs worldwide.
