Extremely little produced single malt whisky - extremely high demand: This is Daftmill's Single Farm Estate Whisky.
Now the Daftmill Winter Batch Release 2008 is in the starting blocks.
Double reason to be happy: With 6,000 bottles, the Farm Distillery has filled a little more bottles than last.
The basis for the Lowland Single Malt is barley of the Optic variety, which Francis Cuthbert harvested on the southern fields of the farm in 2006.
The distillery selected 23 first fill bourbon Barrels for the 12-year maturation period of the distilled brandy.
Connoisseurs can explore the complex aromas of the limited whisky at an ideal drinking strength of 46%vol.

At Daftmill Farm, everything actually revolves around the cultivation of brewing barley, the rearing of beef cattle, potatoes, carrots and broccoli.
However, since 2018 the business of the Cuthbert family from Fife in the Scottish Lowlands has been firmly marked on the whisky world map: After more than 12 years of waiting, Daftmill launched its first single malt on the market.
The Cuthberts produce their Scotch in very small quantities, sometimes no more than 100 barrels a year, from their own barley.
Burning is only done in the low season (June and July and in winter) when there is no need to plant potatoes or sow barley.
