The wonderful island of La Réunion offers volcanic soils and pure river spring water for the cultivation of the finest sugar cane.
The Rivière du Mât distillery was founded in 1886 and is one of the oldest distilleries on the island that is still in operation today.
After gentle fermentation and distillation, this Réserve Spéciale matured for at least six years in selected oak Casks in the tropical climate of the island.
The result is an extraordinary floral, rich and well balanced Rhum Vieux Agricole.
Nose: Aromas of dried flowers, light tobacco and gingerbread
