Distilled on April 11, 1997, matured this single malt whisky over 24 years in the Cask-No. 6375 - even if Signatory does not specify the type of Cask, the color clearly indicates a former sherry Cask.
Bottled on April 12, 2021 at only 776 bottles in Signatory's fine Decanter Collection.
Nose: initially slightly floral with lots of malt, then fruity-sweet aromas of juicy raisins, dates and figs develop - subtly spicy hints in the background
Taste: again the malty notes, paired with freshly baked bread with butter - sweeter with vanilla and dark chocolate behind
Finish: long and full on the finish with noticeably spicy oak and ground pepper - over all butterscotch and ripe berries
